Mares at Flying High Ranch

All mares at Flying High Ranch are broke to ride if they are over the age of three and have great minds as well as conformation. Some will be breed to pass on their traits while others will be used only as riding horses. All are registered and are gentle enough to be riden bareback one day and then be in the show ring the next. No horse on the property would ever bite, kick, rear-up or act unruley. All load, clip, tie, bathe, stand for the farrier, etc.. Looks and bloodlines are not the only thing to consider in a breeding mare. They must have correct and calm dispositions.

"Sophie" must be my favorite of all my horses! She is amazing to ride and work with! She has WP points in PAC through APHA and has many, many ribbons in halter, western pleasure, showmanship, english pleasure and more!

Sophie winning her open halter class! She is in pasture condition here and still beat the other horses!

Sophies pedigree includes such greats as Mighty Deck, Super Swift, Ratchett, Boston Mac, Three Bars and more! She is the "all-around horse"!

Sophie will go anywhere and do anything you ask! Parades, Shows, swim through water... Yeah, we got a little rain! This was our bottom pasture!

"Gabbie" is a wonderful, willing, talanted young mare. She has been undersaddle, out on the trails and in parades for about a year now and is extemely calm. Nothing spooks her or upsets her!

With Gabbies correct conformation and willing temperment she should excel in any direction! She has been started in and doing wonderful in in english,western and hunter under saddle! As you can see here she is very collected and even.

At a year and a half she won grand champion in color in halter! She is so easy to set up for halter or showmanship! She stays calm and correct!
